Ownership Emissionshaus GmbH
Ownership Emissionshaus GmbH was founded in October 2003 with the aim of offering private investors high-quality capital investments in the field of ship shareholdings. OwnerShip drafts the overall concept for the respective shareholding, brings together partners, implements marketing and distributes the ship fund to private investors using qualified distribution partners. In addition, the company is a service provider, lending assistance to medium-sized shipping firms in procuring equity capital to build and purchase new ships.
Independence from banks, shipyards, charter firms, and shipping companies means that promising projects can be implemented to the benefit of the investors without outside interests. This guarantees that the issuing house and the investor have precisely the same interests.
Since being founded, OwnerShip has raised an investment volume of about one billion US-dollars for more then 40 ships, whereby the 20 funds that have been issued to date have performed at least according to expectations. The quality of the equity interests initiated by OwnerShip meets the highest standards of safety and profitability. Constant market monitoring on the one hand and cooperation with additional, independent industry experts on the other hand guarantees that this high quality standard is met in terms of product availability.
The management can draw on many years of experience and well-honed expertise in designing, implementing and distributing innovative and profitable equity interests for private and institutional investors. The highly motivated and excellently qualified staff means that projects can be structured appropriately in a very flexible manner to suit the needs of the customers.
With regard to project realisation, OwnerShip designs all commercial, legal and tax conditions with the aim of providing the investor with an attractive ratio of opportunity to risk in his shareholding. Liquidity-preserving deposits and high cash dividends mean that the capital bound by the investor is kept at a low level. This means that ship shareholdings offered by Ownership Emissionshaus GmbH are an excellent complement to building up assets and as a provision for old age.
Precise knowledge of the market, well-established expertise in designing and implementing ship funds, and the independence from banks, shipyards, and shipping companies allow OwnerShip to issue only those shareholdings that are convincing in their extraordinary innovative potency, security, and high opportunities for profitability.
The managing partners of OwnerShip are Olaf Pankow and Thomas Wenzel. Both men have many years of experience in designing and distributing closed-end investment funds. As former managing directors of the largest independent issuing house in Germany for ship shareholdings, they have proven and specialist competence and a wide network within the shipping industry. They have complemented their team of concept and distribution staff from other issuing houses and have aligned their staff of about 40 employees to the dynamic growth of business operations. This means that OwnerShip can at all times meet the standards of communication in the spirit of a partnership, tailor made to suit the needs of investors and distribution.
All company processes within the OwnerShip Emissionshaus and the OwnerShip Treuhand are certified according to the internationally accepted quality management system ISO 9001:2000.
All internal workflows will be subject to a continuous process improvement.
OwnerShip achieved certification in December 2006 and aims at further expanding all quality aspects. It will be assured that quality will be lived at OwnerShip at all times and from each employee. Moreover the investors gain a wider transparency regarding the company’s processes.
Ownership Treuhand GmbH
OwnerShip Treuhand GmbH operates as the central entity for all partners, involved in the ship shareholding and is therefore the communicative interface between shipping companies, banks, distribution partners, and investors. Primarily speaking, however, it perceives the rights and obligations of the investors specified in the agreements and represents their interests.
Above all, this takes place in the form of intensive and regular controlling of the participating shipping companies. The trust constantly analyses balance sheets and budgets, forecasts and calculated estimates in order to wield its influence whenever necessary.
Another advantage of the trust administration is found in the punctual and comprehensive information concerning commercial and tax factors relating to the ship fund.
The trust is the contact for financial consultants and all interested investors concerning specific questions relating to the individual ship funds.
The close cooperation and proximity between the trust and Ownership Emissionshaus GmbH ensures that investors can draw on direct, personal support over the entire period of ship shareholding. An excellent controlling system over the respective limited partnerships and the rapid response to all questions are in addition the best preconditions in order to inform investors at all times in a transparent manner concerning the current status of their shareholding.
